Kathmandu : The Supreme Court has issued a short-term interim order not to immediately the decision of Kathmandu metropolitan city to remove the structure built by Norvic Hospital on public land.
On Wednesday, the Supreme Court issued a short-term interim order not to remove the structure immediately after the first hearing on the writ filed by Norvic Hospital on Tuesday.
On Monday, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City gave a written ultimatum to the hospital to remove the structure built on public land within 24 hours. Norvic filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the direction of the metropolis.
While hearing the writ, the single bench of Judge Manoj Kumar Sharma has ordered that no work should be done to remove the structure of Hospital until the next hearing. Court has also order metro to submit the reasons for removing the structure within 24 hours.
