Today’s Weather: Partly cloudy in hilly areas, chance of snowfall in Himalayan areas
Kathmandu: According to the Weather Forecasting Division, on Thursday, the hilly areas of Province 1, Gandaki Province, Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province will be partly cloudy with fog in some parts of the Terai, while the weather is generally clear in the rest of the region.
According to the department, this is today’s weather:
In the afternoon, there will be partial to normal change in the hilly areas of Province 1 and Far West Province, while the condition of partial change will remain in the hilly areas of the remaining provinces. There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the Himalayan area of Province 1.
At night, there will be partial to normal change in the hilly areas of Province 1, Karnali Province and Far West Province, while there will be partial change in the hilly areas of the remaining provinces. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the Himalayan region of Province 1 and Sudurpaschim Province.
There is a possibility of light snowfall in few places in the Himalayan region of Province 1 and Sudurpaschim Province. Due to the possibility of fog in some parts of Terai and impact on daily life and road and air traffic, it is requested to take necessary precautions and vigilance.
