One killed, seven injured due to lightning strike

Kathmandu: Bajhang district in Sudurpaschim province, a person died and seven others were injured when lightning struck them. The incident took place at Naura, Jayaprithvi Municipality-6 of Bajhang district last night.
The deceased is 52-year-old Gajendra Bahadur Singh of Naura. Among those injured in the incident, Laxmi Singh is undergoing treatment at the District Hospital while the remaining six have received minor injuries, police said.
