Myagdi: A motorable bridge has been constructed over Gharkhola stream at the bordering area of wards no. 5 and 6 in Annapurna Rural Municipality, Myagdi.

Chairman of Annapurna Rural Muncipality-5 Rajesh Tilija said that the 25 metres long bridge along the Pokharebagar-Paudhar road section has come into operation.

The Pokharebagar-Paudhar road section will have vehicular movement in all seasons after the bridge construction, Tilija said. Paudhar village had to suffer due to lack of road accessibility in the rainy season prior to the bridge construction.

The Fewa-BM KV, a construction company based in Pokhara, had won the bidding for construction at Rs 28.2 million some four years ago.
