Bill on National Order of Precedence passed
Kathmandu: Reports of three commissions have been tabled at the National Assembly (NA) on Tuesday.
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma, on behalf of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, tabled the 16th annual report 2078/079 BS of Election Commission, third annual report 2079/080 BS of National Dalit Commission and 33rd annual report 2079/080 BS of Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).
Also today, the upper house unanimously passed the “Bill on National Order of Precedence, 2080′. In the second meeting of the National Assembly, a proposal seeking passage of the Bill tabled by MP Prakash Pant was passed unanimously. Originated from the National Assembly, the bill will now go to the House of Representatives.
Likewise, Chairperson of Legislation Management Committee Jayanti Devi Rai tabled the Committee’s report on “Bill on National Order of Precedence, 2080′.
Similarly, the NA meeting today approved a proposal tabled by Education Minister Ashok Kumar Rai for sending the “Bill on Sahid Dasharath Chand Health Science University, 2080” to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise discussions. The next meeting of the National Assembly will be held on November 2.
