Dignified media protects the dignity of citizens: President Paudel

Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel has said that the dignity and respect of common citizens can be preserved through the dignified role of the media.

In a conversation with office-bearers of Press Council Nepal at the Office of the President in Sheetal Niwas today, President Paudel suggested the Council to focus its activities to address the challenges brought about by the new media.

On the occasion, the team including Council Chair Balkrishna Basnet briefed about the latest trends, problems and new practices and challenges seen in the Nepali media.
