Kathmandu: The health condition of Nepali Congress leader and MP Dr Chandrakant Bhandari is witnessing gradually improvement.
Dr Bhandari is currently undergoing treatment at the National Burn Center in Mumbai, India for burn injuries. Bhandari was airlifted to Mumbai after being seriously injured in a cooking gas leakage and explosion that took place at his house in Buddhanagar, Kathmandu, ten days ago.
Bhandari’s relative Meen Prasad Bhandari shared that all vitals of leader Bhandari remain normal and that he has started taking solid food from Friday. It may be noted Bhandari’s mother Harikala Bhandari, who was also injured in the incident, died during treatment at Burn Hospital in Kirtipur.
