Kathmandu: The Supreme Court (SC) has refused to issue an interim order to allow cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane from travelling abroad.
A single bench of Justice Ishwor Prasad Khatiwada refused to issue the interim order and allow Lamichhane to go abroad to play.
SC Spokesperson Bimal Poudel said the SC, without issuing an interim order, has stated that hearing on petitions of both sides including of the government and Lamichhane should be conducted in a same day.
The Office of the Attorney General has also filed writ petition at the SC on the same issue.
Lamichhane had filed writ petition demanding he should be allowed to go abroad to play match.
The SC has also directed to submit both the petitions on Sunday.
