Kathmandu: Ninety-five films of 35 different countries have been selected for sixth Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF). The festival is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from March 16-20.
At a news conference organised by Nepal Film and Cultural Academy here on Wednesday, NIFF Chair KP Pathak shared that out of 500 films of 55 countries, 95 films have been selected.
Fourteen awards in seven categories of national and international short and long movies, documentary and animated films would be distributed in the festival. Different workshops, interactions would also be organised.
Saying the festival would provide opportunity to promote Nepali festival in international-level, Chairperson of Nepal Film Development Board, Bhuwan KC, expressed commitment to provide possible support.
