Kathmandu: Chairman of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli has said that the candidate nominated by UML for the presidency will be of national consensus.
Speaking to the media after the election of the Speaker, he said that UML will nominate a candidate and there will be a national consensus on that.
Oli made this comment when Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ was expressing that he would select the president in agreement with the parties including the Congress.
Quoting Prime Minister Prachanda about the president, UML President Oli said, “There should be a national consensus, UML picks a candidate, that is our consensus. There should be a national consensus on that.”
