Paul Shah has been acquitted
Kathmandu: Tanahun district court has acquitted actor Paul Shah, who is in jail in the girl rape case. In today’s hearing, the court acquitted Shah.
On Tuesday, the bench of District Judge Kamal Prasad Acharya acquitted the rape allegation as insufficient. The district court also acquitted Paul Shah’s manager Krishna Joshi.
There were separate complaints in Tanahun and Nawalpur regarding this case. District Court Nawalpur has already ordered Shah to be imprisoned for 2 years and 6 months and to pay compensation of 1 million on the charge of child sexual abuse.
Against the order of the Nawalpur court, Paul has filed an appeal in the high court of Pokhara. Pal will be released only if the High Court overturns the decision of Nawalpur District Court.
