Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has received vote of confidence.
According to the constitutional provision that a vote of confidence should be taken within 30 days of the appointment of the Prime Minister, Prachanda took the vote of confidence in the Parliament on Tuesday, according to Clause 4 of Article 76 of the Constitution.
Prime Minister Prachanda received a vote of confidence from 268 MPs. 270 MPs attended the meeting and two voted against him.
Chitra Bahadur Kc of Rashtriya Janamorcha and MP Prem Suwal of Nepal Mazduar Kisan Party are those who voted against.
